My session was split between Kat and Richard, one of my top moments was with Richard driving on a wet surface, my car was a bit too smart for what we wanted to achieve, so Richard did a handbrake turn which at first frighted the socks off of me, but I just couldn't stop laughing afterwards.

Before we even decided on a plan they meet their clients, we had a Zoom meeting, which is a great idea. I came across Veloce Driving through recommendations in a couple of Porsche forums, when I was looking for some advanced training.

I was very aware that my 911 was an exceptional car, and I was only an ordinary driver. I wanted to raise my level of skill to be able to enjoy my car more and to be able to do it justice and use its capabilities more fully.

First off was a day at Millbrook Proving Ground, where we explored the behaviour of the car in some fairly extreme situations! It was enormous fun, and I progressed a great deal in the course of the day. I finally got to experience a bit of what my car is capable of and learn a lot more about it. In safety!

Next was a track day at Goodwood, which was a little intimidating at first. It’s a fast circuit, there’s no runoff, and my insurance didn’t cover it! However, we worked at it progressively, starting slower and then gradually building the pace throughout the day until I was pulling off some fairly respectable laps I believe for my first time on track.

My confidence (and ability) grew a great deal during the day. Both days were great fun, very exciting and quite challenging, but extremely enjoyable. I asked for Kat and Richard specifically because they make a great team.

Intentionally or otherwise, they seem to work on different aspects of your driving so you get much more than you would from a single coach. I look forward to doing many more days. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Took my first tentative steps onto the race track a few years ago. Got the bug and was enjoying it, but wanted to get better. Found Kat through Porsche Club GB and have been working with her for the last 3 years.

Started with the fundamentals of learning the tracks, the correct lines and braking points and have progressed to work on balance, weight transfer and timing.

I always use a GoPro/data, and we always review the past sessions on the track day we are attending, so that we go into the day knowing what to work on. Kat helps me pick the pace up throughout the day whilst ensuring we stay safe and in control.

Afterwards, we review the video/data, and I get a written report of how I performed and what the next potential improvements are. Thoroughly recommend Veloce Driving and their team to anyone wanting to explore what their car can really do in a safe environment and have some fun.
