Christmas Markets Tour Itinerary

DAY 1

Our tour starts off in the ancient Belgian city of Bruges. Arrive and check in at your own convenience, feel free to enjoy the hotel facilities as well as the first Christmas market.

Our tour starts off in the ancient Belgian city of Bruges, the capital of West Flanders and breathtakingly beautiful. Check in at your leisure then explore the city.

DAY 2

Depart Bruges

Part 1 of our tour takes down through the picturesque Rhine valley. Winding our way along past forested hillsides, craggy cliffs and traced vineyards finally arriving in the ancient winemaking town of Rudesheim. Time to enjoy our first traditional German Christmas market.

Part 1 of our tour takes down through the picturesque Rhine valley. Winding our way along past forested hillsides, craggy cliffs and traced vineyards to our luxury overnight stay in Rudesheim.

DAY 3

Depart Rudesheim

Continuing along the Rhine valley we end up at Wurzburg and the start of the famous Romantic Road. The route passes through glorious rural Germany with fairy tale castles and ancient towns and villages. Our stop for the night is also our third German market. Renown as being one of the most incredible of all, the medieval town transforms itself into a winter wonderland as it has done since the 15th century.

Continuing along the Rhine valley the route passes through glorious rural Germany with incredible castles and beautiful towns. We end up at medieval Rothenburg where a winter wonderland awaits.

DAY 4

Depart Rothenburg

We carry on our way along the romantic road stopping at the town of Augsburg where you can wander the town and Christmas market. Once we reach the end of the Romantic road we start heading East towards the Black Forest, stopping for the night in the town of Lindau, overlooking Lake Constance.

Carrying on further down the Romantic Road we wind our way East pausing at Augsburg before our stop for the night, overlooking Lake Constance.

DAY 5

Depart Lindau

Another day of incredible roads beckons as we head into the heart of the Black Forest. Our route takes us over the Black Forest High Road, reaching over 1000 metres in height and winding through some astonishing vistas before finally arriving in Strasbourg and the largest Christmas market on our list.

5 Star hotel

Today sees us head over the Black Forest High Road, reaching 1000 metres above sea level in places, the road is renowned for its incredible views and scenery as well as being a joy to drive. Strasbourg is our ultimate destination for the day.

DAY 6

Our final full day sees us wandering up through France via Metz for lunch, and on to Reims; the heart of Champagne country. Here we have our final Christmas market and a night in the lap of luxury

Depart for home
